Dr. David Chandross, Professor of Education at Ryerson University, recently published an article in The National Post on how serious games are shaping the learning process in higher education. We are proud to say that David was involved in the development of the Reach platform, specifically its game mechanics and simulation builder.

In his article David specifically refers to SOS and The Grid as serious games that are transforming higher education learning. Award-winning SOS was proudly developed in partnership with our Reach mobile team and is being used in nurse training for elderly patient care. The Grid, a long-term care education game, is built on our Reach platform and currently used by Baycrest and George Brown College students.

The Grid was recently mentioned in our previous blog post about how post-secondary institutions are using serious games and simulations as learning platforms.
