Gamification is the use of game elements and game design outside of the context of games for entertainment. Reach’s proprietary software comes with a gamification engine to design serious games for learning that tap into psychological stimuli and mechanics so the learning is engaging and fun.
What are coupled game systems?
Coupled game systems are games and game worlds for learning where progression is measured when learners successfully perform practical simulations in the game to rehearse behaviors in the real world. Coupled game systems improve decision making and critical thinking skills.
What is just-in-time-simulation?
Reach’s analytics use a just-in-time simulation (JTS) system to analyze learner data. Most Learning Management Systems (LMS) provide analytics focused on course completion, time to completion, and pass/fail rates. Reach’s analytics are setup to respond to learner needs immediately and can identify areas where more instruction or content changes may be needed to improve the learner’s progression.
Do I need a Learning Management System (LMS) to use Reach?
